Instituto Mário Penna, in partnership with Lojas REDE, promoted an exciting action this Tuesday afternoon, October 26th. The five cashiers that stood out the most in the collection of Troco Esperança last year were surprised with a tribute from two patients Entrelaçadas (support group formed by women undergoing breast cancer treatment who share their experiences).
Ana Luiza Ribeiro, Glaysse Keller Gonçalves de Souza, Thais Muniz de Almeida, Karina Oliveira de Jesus and Amanda Costa Jerônimo received flowers and an October Rosa eco bag filled with gifts as a token of gratitude for their commitment, dedication, delivery and generosity when asking the change that helps in the treatment of thousands of cancer patients treated at Instituto Mário Penna.
Patients Josiane Galdino and Marlete Aparecida did not spare their thanks to the collaborators. “Thanks to you, we were able to provide quality treatment with excellent professionals. You are also responsible for the success of our work and for being here so well,” they said.
Troco Esperança – The Troco Esperança project is a partnership between Instituto Mário Penna and Lojas REDE, which has existed for 12 years. The action contributes through the donation of change from customers to ensure cancer treatment for thousands of patients who come from more than 600 municipalities in Minas Gerais.
